Please don't degrade this wonderful holiday by calling it "Turkey Day." That's kind of low class...it's called "Thanksgiving Day" because the real reason is for us to give thanks today, not to eat turkey.
It's like saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." If you celebrate Christmas, say "Merry Christmas." If you celebrate Kwanza, say "Happy Kwanza." If someone gets offended then they're just not in the spirit of the season and to hell with them.
well, I say Happy Holidays, so at least I'm consistant...but it does in fact have something to do with the fact that I don't celebrate Christmas, not in terms of offending anyone
Okay, what? Why?

ReplyDeleteif i offended i apologize, but believe me when i say it's not a degradation, more a nickname
