I like that its darker, as a lot of action franchise sequels are, and that they are actually attempting to have a story instead of a simple cash-in sequel.
Also, thank god they brought back Megatron, and thank god they gave Star scream a larger role, as well as overall giving the robots more to do, now that they have a bigger budget to use more CGI fr more robots and more robot screen time.
Admittedly though, right now I am lookign forward to Public Enemies, Harry Potter, and Terminator Salvation more than Transformers 2.
Transformers is one of those films where you leave your brain at the door, and just watch it for the fun of it. It's Michael Bay doing what he does best: SFX.
