A tear shed for Michael Shannon, who despite his Oscar nomination and scenery-chewing role doesn't quite have the gravitas to secure his name on the poster, at least not when compared to "girl from Twilight" and "former tween-queen whose roles have seemingly been monopolized by Abigail Breslin and her own little sister for the past few years".
I love music movies (Almost Famous, Walk the Line, Crazy Heart) so I am very excited about this, but I'm even more excited about the Kurt Cobain movie (but that's far away)
Thoughts?
