If it were really a decent force to be reckoned with, they'd have left it as it was. February is an extremely unflattering release date for a movie of that prestige.
ReplyDeleteOh well, from what I hear, we can still look forward to seeing Tom Cruise giving a stellar turn in this summer's Tropic Thunder.

ReplyDeleteThe studio probably realised what a flop it's going to be. From the trailer, the dialogue sounds terrible and Cruise doesn't even try an accent. Has embarrassment written all over it.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a perfectly decent movie but not awards material, and the studio realized that. And it's not summer blockbuster fare.
ReplyDeletewhen I hear dialog like "When the S.S. catch you, they will pull you apart like warm bread," it really makes me cry with pain. this is major nonsense! no wonder they postponed it. it's gonna be embarrassing, and they know it!
