Sean Penn is the front runner to win the Best Actor Oscar for MILK and he can't even open that film. It's doing horrendous business, despite a slew of nominations. I think it's good riddance that he's no longer in Crossing Over - it's Harry Ford's movie and he's guaranteed a decent sized audience for most his efforts. I've also read Penn was only in Crossing Over for something like five minutes. We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm hoping for good things.
-This gets an A for effort, but until the film comes out, I still won't make any claims to it being awards bait or not..
