Not quite, but there are perhaps plans in the works for a resurrection of his last project, a Holocaust set film called 'Aryan Papers'. Kubrick originally shelved the project when Schindler's List went into production, but his family is anxious for his final work, based on a novel by the author of About Schmidt, to eventually see the light of day, preferably with an A-list director attached (interestingly IMDb lists William Monahan was being the screenwriter, but who knows if that has any accuracy to it).

ReplyDeleteI'm a huge Kubrick fan, so I'd very interested in seeing where this goes, as long as the filmmakers attempt to keep his vision and screenplay in mind when making the film...
