Variety puts out their annual list of 10 Actors to Watch...
The whole shebang can be found here, but these are the 10 names that they selected for the honor this year: Laz Alonso Maggie Grace Tom Hardy Nicholas Hoult Rachelle Lefevre Jeremy Renner Alia Shawkat Emma Stone Michael Stuhlbarg Christoph Waltz -It's an interesting list, without a doubt...thoughts?
I think it's a solid list. I have enjoyed Alia Shawkat ever since she was on Arrested Development, but I'm not sure if she's equipped for more that the type of supporting role she had in Whip It.
Tom Hardy is set to appear in 2010's Inception so he is definitely one to keep an eye on and Renner, Stuhlbarg, and Waltz turn in some of the year's best performances.
I can't speak for Arrested Development, but I enjoyed her in Whip It, and pretty everyone on the list is an up and comer, if they haven't already arrived
It's an interesting list, and I applaud them for some inspire choices like Alia Shawkat and Michael Stuhlbarg. I'm surprised though that they don't have Carey Mulligan or Gabby Sidibe.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
