Yes, it's a busy Sunday here at The Awards Circuit. First off, the 2009 Awards Circuit Community Awards have come out with the official nominees and they may surprise some. The nomination announcement can be found here, so check them out and prepare to start voting again soon!
The staff has also finalized our Oscar predictions in terms of nominations, so go here and see who you agree with most leading up to Tuesday's announcement.
We also have an article from John Foote on how to go about disagreeing with a writer. It's a great read for anyone who publishes their work (myself included), so check it out here and leave some feedback.
Finally, our first Music review is up, and it's for the soundtrack to Up in the Air. Read it here and stay tuned for more of these types of reviews to pop up in 2010!

Yes, there's a lot brewing here at The Awards Circuit. First off, we've got updated staff predictions for you (featuring the first by new staff writers John Foote and Jackson Truax). Be sure to check them out here and take some heat off of Clayton by telling us what we did right and what we might have done wrong! (Take note, these were submitted before the recent changes to Original Score and Visual Effects, so if something is there that isn't eligible, it's not ignorance, just bad timing on our part)

Our fearless leader Clayton continues to update his predictions, this time focusing on Original and Adapted Screenplay (found here), as well as the technical categories (found here). Be sure to check them out and let him know how he's doing!
If you're curious what everyone else is predicting to get nominated (and win), then you're in luck with this latest update. We have updated staff predictions found here, in which myself (Joey), Myles, and Keith all throw out what we feel the nominations will look like.
