This movie has yet to get off the ground, and there is now more doubt that Javier Bardem will play the Colombian drug lord. If Javier doesn't play the lead role, I'm not sure who else Carnahan has in mind. The book is great, and needs to be made. Hopefully, they can get Bardem on board, and finish this film by next year. If done correctly, it will certainly be in the thick of Oscar season come next year. The book is that good.

Yea I was really looking forward to Killing Pablo...I didn't care for Smokin' Aces but Carnhans film Ticker a BMW short film is absolutly fantastic...I have the script but haven't read it yet I hope Bardem stays on he would be great in that role.

It had some bad parts but I thought it showed talent in direction watch "Ticker" on youtube with Clive Owen, Don Cheadle, F. Murray Abraham, Dennis Haysbert, Robert Patrick and Ray Liotta its fantastic.
