I think so. Because people will be seeing Pineapple and Sisterhood this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe Dark Knight has gone from 158 to 70 million to 43 million. It loses money every week. Pinapple Express could make from 20-40 million opening week. The Dark Knight will have a decrease in tickets as it has the last three weeks. Pineapple Express will make more money.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed The Dark Knight's dominance, but I think it'll be dethroned this weekend. It might finish top 5 though, which is still quite impressive.

ReplyDeleteYes, "Pineapple Express" will be #1 this week. That's too bad. When I saw "Knight's" opening weekend gross, I hoped it would chase down Titanic as the all time box office king. Not going to happen. Still, it will unseat "Star Wars" and be #2 of all time.
