If you could never use the star-shaped text box graffic again that would be great. It is not only ugly and unsightly, but it comes up and covers the entire image that it is posted upon. I loved the text-box used for the first half of the films. I may be the only person who feels this way, but I think it would be best if you never use the star-shaped text box again.
Sad to see Visitor and Vicky Christina Barcelona go, though I suppose neither was really going to last eventually. Frost/Nixon's early elimination is surprising, Iron Man not so much.
It has a rooting factor within the Academy that shouldn't be ignored, regardless of lackluster reviews. Support from Oprah (an Academy voter herself) and comparisons to previous epic romances like Titanic and Atonement may help it squeeze in there.
As for the Academy Idol support, I guess enough people voted for it, plain and simple. Remember, last year ended up being between There Will Be Blood and Knocked Up, so never underestimate the popular vote. I wouldn't bet on it to last too much longer however.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
