New "Terminator Salvation" Trailer Stops Trying To Be "Cloverfield" And Starts Trying To Be "Transformers" Instead
Courtesy of Apple, we now have the new trailer for "Terminator Salvation", starring Christian Bale, who will apparently be doing his gravelly Batman voice the entire movie:
-After the third movie, I have serious doubts about this installment. But I've been wrong before.......your thoughts?
I actually enjoyed the third film, but it was not a masterpiece like the second one, or close to the first. In watching this trailer I am excited and I was kinda wondering where your reference to Transformers came from until the last few frames!
Well, between the final robot, the motorcycle robots, and the grungy sci-fi cinematography, I'd believe you if you told me Michael Bay was behind this.
I honestly am very much looking forward to this, as it looks like it is getting back to what the franchise is all about. Christian Bale looks quite honestly amazing as John Connor, and I am very glad they picked him for the role. His confrontation with Sam Worthington's Terminator looked pretty well-acted and well-written. McG may not be the nest director on the planet, but I have faith in his ability to give us a good Terminator film again. It probably won't be the masterpiece that was T2, but then again, what could possibly surpass that?
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
