Gawd, I keep forgetting about this one. I mean, unless Soderbergh has revamped it in the editing room to transform it into the masterpiece it should have been, I think we can mostly agree the only real shot it's ever had is for Best Actor. And since that category already has three locks (Rourke, Penn, probably Langella), it'll be difficult for it to get recognized unless it makes a hell of a splash upon release.
Doubtful, but it still looks great. I personally don't care if it's 4 hours long, I'll sit through it simply because its a subject that deserves my attention. Like him or not, Che was an incredibly important figure that changed Latin American history forever, and that's something that deserves an epic film treatment. I personally can't wait to see the film(s), but I think that the only place it will have in the oscar race is possibly Best Actor, and a few techs. Unless this has had some time in the editing room, and totally blows away critics, Actor may be the only good bet, which is already becoming a crowded field as is.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
