According to Sasha Stone (Awardsdaily), "The Editors awards are the second most important guild award after the DGA, believe it or not." Also, if anyone does not think Frost/Nixon is a highly probable nominee, they must be Tar Heel fans.

WGA, DGA, PGA and the ACE Eddies have starred the same five films and 4/5 were nominated for that ever-important SAG Ensemble...I agree that its just ignorant at this point not to have Frost/Nixon on your predicted five...sure, Howard may be the most vulnerable director...but seriously, lets be honest
ReplyDeleteEverything aligns almost too perfectly. All of these guilds are naming the same five films, and even at the SAG awards, TDK was replaced with the logical choice of Doubt (we always knew it was more of an actor's piece anyway). When it's all this perfect, something feels like a big surprise is going to happen next Thursday.
