OK, I want somebody to look at the top poster and tell me with a straight face it doesn't resemble the one for Iron Man. If you can do that, then you're going to Hell for lying, because that's exactly what it looks like. And as for the generic floating heads of the bottom one...come on. Today is a great day for lazy posters.
And wow, is the tagline really "The Future Begins"? Terminator Salvation is released within a month of this movie, and the tagline has been "The End Begins" since the teaser almost a year ago. How does nobody pick up on this?
I think that style of poster was started with Star Wars, and I thought with Iron Man it was terrible but I think it works really well for Star Trek I think its a great poster, can't wait!!!
I also like the top one, and immediately thought of Star Wars, not Iron Man. This is probably because I have an episode V poster in my dorm room that looks just like it. I think it works really well for Star Trek, and am pretty excited for he movie even though I haven't seen any of the TV shows or previous movies.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
