The 'Amelia' Trailer absolutely screams "Oscar Bait"!

Take a gander for yourself:

-I think this trailer just boosted not only the chances of the film and of Swank, but mainly that of Richard Gere, but that's just my gut instinct...what do you think?

    Interesting that they don't use Ewan McGregor as a selling point. Looks very typical to me, but could be good, and will likely be supreme Oscar bait.

    I really liked the trailer. It also looks great tech wise, and hopefully the acting will be marvelous, but can Swank really get a third? idk

    It reminds a lot of The Aviator, not just the subject matter, but visually. Both movies seem to use the same visual techniques. Or, should I say, maybe this movie is ripping off The Aviator. We'll have to wait and see.
