Definitely for Requiem and Antichrist and I'd also add Oldboy
ReplyDeleteinteresting choice...I'm curious to see what people find scary, since I'd say that most horror movies aren't scary, regardless of their quality...
ReplyDeleteand for me, the scariest movie ever made is Arachnophobia, since I'm scared shitless of spiders haha
ReplyDeleteMulholland Drive is a masterpiece, but the first time I saw it (I was like 14) I was so scared by the hobo thing that I couldn't walk around corners without my heart racing. And the Club Silencio while beautiful, makes me so uneasy to think about.
ReplyDeleteI didn't care much for the flick, but it was certainly odd
ReplyDeleteSilence of the Lambs. I wouldn't consider it a horror so much as a thriller, and it scared the shit out of me when I first saw it.
ReplyDeleteUnited 93 was a completely harrowing film. Antichrist is also very disturbing and I agree that neither of them can be considered horror movies.
