ReplyDelete"Doc and Howie Whack a Granny" has got to be one of the funniest titles I've ever heard.

ReplyDeleteIt's still a great list, but it's kind of gone the way of Sundance. Mostly corporate shilling with a few undiscovered indy gems.
ReplyDeleteAgents lobbying to get their client's scripts on the list, executives being pressured to vote for the script's their companies are attached to, etc. I guess that's the business.
I don't think that's a completely accurate way to characterize it, since it's still created by assistants, just now it gets seen by executives, but I understand the sentiment.
