Oscar Obsession
So nice to see some of the things I mentioned in my ballott...however, you definitely picked the wrong quote from "Juno"...shooulda been the iPod / babies quote or the shenanigan quote. Also, very sad to see that Atonement was snubbed in a lot of the nominations. Just terrible for people to think that the film is 'above us'....or that it is 'too British'....just you all wait and see, the Oscars will give it its just dues. One more thing...Laura Linney finally gets recognition!!! HURRAH!!!
ReplyDeleteumm Shia Labeouf PARANOIA??
ReplyDeleteI thought it was DISTURBIA!
Oh yes, my mistake. The movie is called Disturbia. I saw this movie in Portugal and I was thinking on its european title.
ReplyDeleteWay too much love for 300!!!!! Glad to see Adams and Mann nominated.

I'm assuming the "standoff at hotel room" scene from No Country for Old Men is the scene where Chigurh almost kills Moss at the Eagle Hotel. If so I agree its the best scene of the year. If not the one in the gas station.
