Looks like Stone is on board to direct 'Wall Street 2'. Michael Douglas is in negotiation to reprise his Oscar winning role as Gordon Gekko. There's also talk that Shia LeBeouf will join. I enjoyed Wall Street. Anyone excited for a sequel?
I think apart from Douglas who I think is very good not great in the original Wall Street is not a very good film so...I could not be less excited for this haha...
I am actually very excited for this. I was surprised it took them this long to make a sequel because out of all of Stone's movies this is the one that would make most sense to have a sequel for. And Shia LeBeouf would be perfect for the Charlie Sheen type role.
I really do wish Hollywood would come up with better sequel titles. Can't audiences tell a sequel is a sequel without the obvious and unimaginative 2,3, 4 or even 5 in the title? I'm sure it has to do with marketing, but frankly I find it boring.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

Mmmm. Yes. Shia LaBeouf. Because he's definitely a good-luck charm if you're making a sequel to a 20 year-old franchise.
