-This wants to be The Devil Wears Prada so badly, but I actually see potential in this, mainly because I'm a few weeks away from being in the same position...thoughts?
Right there with ya, Joey. 18 days. What's more, this trailer may very well be my future. Well, switch around genders and whatnot....for pretty much everybody. But I'm there.
Oh dear, i have over 12k worth of uni debt, a degree and i'm still at my uni job, although promoted, im still there. I'm just like that hot girl, minus the boyfriend an Michael Keaton for a dad. This too will be your fate Joey. Sorry. But i'm already there.
Well, as to the film I'll say it looks kinda melodramatic and as if it's trying too hard to be what it could be with much less obvious effort.
As for Joey's career, and everyone else's, take it from me - I didn't hit my stride until my late twenties. But the ride to then was very enlightening. I think too much stress is put on people to have their lives mapped out by the end of school, the career chosen, and then the expectation that once out of uni, you'll be on the road through that career. I think it's all a load of shit. Do what you want. Do what you feel like doing. Otherwise you'll end up with a huge uni debt, a degree you haven't used yet, and a huge amount of regret and resentment. Whatever you choose to do, let it be right for you, not what others have determined for you. They fucked up their own lives, make them let you fuck up your own (if that happens.)
glad to see some people have an investment in my future lol (Ammar doesn't count, I know him personally and he's stuck with me pretty much...and yes, we probably would have had someone from our aborted horror film in this, not Alexis...
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
