Very true, Weisz does look just like Brittany Murphy. But that is never a bad thing. Nothing against Weisz. The poster is very cool, one the best posters I've seen in a long time. But, I'm afraid the movie itself doesn't look that interesting. I like Brody and Weisz so I'll go see it, but the trailer was quite cheesy.
I didn't know it was a Rian Johnson film. That's a tremendous upside. I question the casting but I also questioned Brick's casting and I was proved wrong. So yes, definitely one of the more anticipated film with a kick ass poster.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteI like it. It's different. Will it pay off though?

This seems like one of those movies where the actors really ham it up and it just doesn't work. Also, Brittney Murphy-Clueless era is a bad thing...
ReplyDeletegood point...I'm interested in it mainly for Ruffalo, but Rian Johnson is also a great young talent
ReplyDeleteIt is slightly reminiscent of the poster for Murder on the Orient Express in a sense. Nostalgic, very cool.
