Finally another movie to look forward to this Oscar season, looks great...but does it bug anyone else that he just looks like Michael Clayton in this movie hair and suits are so similar...
believe me, the scripts are far different...this character has more in common with Danny Ocean...this trailer captures the tone of the script perfectly, though the script is a little funnier, but either way, be on the lookout for this one
No no no I didn't mean like in the film his character seems to similar but like his whole look the hair and suit is virtually the same. My only real concern is it looks a tad too similar to Thank You for Smoking stylistically, except he's not selling a cause thats bad.
I know, no worries, I just know that sometimes a lack of plot can be a turn off for some, so i was mildly defending a flick that, at least as a script, is a home run
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteunderstandable...after reading the script I compared it to Myles as Thank You for Smoking meets About Schmidt meets The Apartment meets The Wrestler
ReplyDeleteInteresting loglines...curious to see how it all comes together
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an interesting trailer. Doesn't really give away much as to the plot of the film, but it certainly was intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to say that it's light on plot, but much of it is character interactions and observation as opposed to plot point, plot point, plot point
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean it as a criticism if that's how it sounded. In fact, I prefer trailers that don't reveal plot points (i.e. Inception).
ReplyDeleteI know, no worries, I just know that sometimes a lack of plot can be a turn off for some, so i was mildly defending a flick that, at least as a script, is a home run
ReplyDeleteIn the wise words of that lady in the Frog and the Prince, "its goin be guuuuuud".
