I hate being in the minority, but I am really not all that excited about this movie, I have to be honest. I've never really enjoyed Wes Anderson, I like the voice cast but they all seem to be playing themselves, and though I love the book I'm just not a fan of the way it's being done. The animation appears lazy but somehow still getting away with the artsy descriptor. Overall, this is not for me.
You're not in the minority on this film, imo. I thought it looked really bad from the start. Like I said when the first trailer for it came out, it literally looks like a Wes Anderson film that's animated.
On a side note, I'm beginning to lose respect for "Rolling Stone" magazine critic Peter Travers. He used to be one of my favorite critics out there, but it seems like he's favoring supposedly "different" films too much these days, while brushing off larger works which are just as good if not better.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

I don't expect too much, but I'm also not big on Wes...
