Joey here, just back from seeing TDK and I must say, everything you've heard is true. Trust me for now, but see it for yourself and behold the wonder that Nolan has unleashed on us!
no. not that good. to long, to preachy and not good performances. except from Heath Ledger. hes the only thing good about it. how stupid was maggie gyllenhaal? ghastly.
I can die happy now. This film deserves every single bit of praise and then some. In fact, I can now officially sign myself onto the movement to get it nominated for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and Supporting Actor. Best film of 2008!
anonymous...i didn't want other people to read your post in case they haven't seen the movie yet, but no...i found that scene to be well done, though Eckhart is better in the scene
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhh.......so so so so good. Best Batman film, best comic-book movie, best of 2008 so far.
ReplyDeleteIf Heath misses out on a Best Supporting Actor nomination, I may find my officially unbiased position somewhat challenged.
i can honestly say that I can't find one fault with this film, and I have now seen it twice, so it holds up on repeat viewing as well...it's a classic

ReplyDeleteNo matter what it is the best picture of 2008 in my book.
ReplyDeleteAs long as Heath gets a nomination (and win), any other nomination is simply gravy.
it was a near (if not) perfect film, and Heath Ledger was incredible
