...The Dark Knight is poised for a huge impact when it opens. Joey here, and at this point, I just can't see this film being bad at all. No negative reviews so far, more and more kickass clips/trailers popping up, and box office-wise, I just tried to buy tickets for the midnight IMAX show the wednesday it opens and it's already sold out. Wow.

You're right. This movie is becoming a cultural phenomenon right before our eyes. It's going to do incredibly well in the box office, and will probably be one the best reviewed movies of the year. I'm not sure if this will translate in the Oscar success, but it might be the most deserving film at the end of the day. I heard that the IMAX theater was sold out for about 3 weeks already. That's freaking incredible. Here's to the biggest movie event of the year!
