very shocking... she's been in most nominee pools throughout the season, but never a winner. I think Ruby Dee, Cate Blanchett, and Amy Ryan all may have cancelled each other out. THey shared precursors. Tilda Swinton was as shocked by her win as everyone else. She should have acknowledged the upset...and her dress was awful. Hideous. but she was great in MC. So there you have it.
