  3. Ellen Page would have been the crowd-pleaser, but Marion Cotillard gave one of the most transformative performances of the year. Very deserving. Beautiful film, beautiful actress. Very humble. One of the best reactions of the night (tied with Swinton's facial expression when she pulled the upset). tres cool.

  4. YES!!!!!!!!!!! Cotillard won just as I had hoped! she earned it and was so happy the academy reconized the best performance of the year!!!

  5. I didn't predict Marion but she gave my favorite (and by far the best) performance of the year and I'm so glad AMPAS got it right.

  7. I seriously cannot believe you didn't see that coming igloo! For some reason she felt like a sure thing to me for over a month at least.

    I had only seen Dench and Huffman before the other day when Walk The Line was on. After seeing Reese I'm not that bitter, she was great. Huffman great....maybe not, a rewatch is due.
