Clayton and the rest of the staff thought it would be interesting to chat about some of the best of the 2000s not nominated for Best Picture. We're going to try to get you a podcast every week discussing some of the biggest snubs of the 2000s in each category leading up to the 2009 Academy Awards . . . There are a slew of reviews going up by tomorrow, so be on the look out. I finished up a review on the Hurt Locker, and Joey and Myles wrote up a few. Please feel free to e-mail suggestions, concerns, or criticisms. We definitely appreciate your support, and we will continue to bring you reviews, news, and podcasts. Thanks guys!

not bad guys, i liked it, though honestly i preferred Joey and Myles's two podcasts more...they sound more confident...just my opinion
ReplyDeletethanks for listening, and that's a fair criticism. i have to get use to the podcasting format, but i promise you it'll get better. just keep listening! thanks again.
ReplyDeletenone of the audio is working...
ReplyDeletei gotta say, the editing was awful...Joey and Myles have better editing, why?
ReplyDeletei don't mean to beat up on it, but this is a real downgrade from the first 2, not sure why, whether it's the change in hosts, the longer length, the topic, or just my own preference, but i found myself replaying the first 2 to make sure and enjoying them more the second times than this one once...keep at it though

Yeah it is like a 1970s porn film. Myles didn't edit this one. We sort of jumped the gun, and it was more of a test run. Next week's show will be better, trust me.
ReplyDeletenot to be mean, but i hope it's better because Joey and Myles are doing it....
ReplyDeleteagreed, I was preferential to their podcasts as opposed to this one...i think you guys are more loose, but fit in with the site less...too much like friends and not into giving us anything we want, if that makes sense....the first two were made for us, this one is for you guys...
ReplyDeleteI really liked it. I didn't have a problem with it. I have enjoyed all the podcasts. I found this one more amusing. I enjoyed the friend bantering...it gave it a more laid-back vibe.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate all the comments are criticism but we are not competing with each other and we will all be working with each other and be switching up.
ReplyDeleteWe will be working to make them better and continue to bring them as often as we can.
Thanks
Listened to all the podcasts that are up so far and think they are great. Love how you guys changed it up this time with Clayton and Keith. Sounded casual, fresh, and fun. Less "technical" and wordy than the other ones wit Joey & Myles which gives this one more of a friend-reader interaction vibe...Good job Clayton and Keith!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a good podcast--sure a little rough around the edges--but entertaining to say the least.
ReplyDeleteOverall I thought the picks were interesting and I was glad that the hosts did not always pick the most "conventional" picks.
Bravo.
Mine is Renee Zellweger too Clayton.

love the humor and back and forth dialouge between clayton and keith...thumbs up guys!!!
ReplyDeletei also enjoyed the humor, but it felt too much like ameturs as opposed to the professionals i know you all are, guess Joey and Myles just pull that all off better
ReplyDeleteit's a good dynamic that the two different 'casts have...one is more fun, but one sounds more informed...neither is better, just serve different purposes
ReplyDeleteWall-e
ReplyDeleteCity of god
Pan´s Labyrinth
Changeling
Into the Wild
completely agree on Into the Wild...this latest one sounded a bit rougher than the first two, but i can deal, good work
ReplyDeletenice job boys!!!
