The new Trailer for G.I. Joe only confirms my earlier doubts...

...that there's no way that this film is any good:

-It actually makes me anxious for Transformers 2 (which I probably won't be reviewing, for obvious reasons, unless it surprises me, of course), if you can believe that...

  1. The film is just intended to be a pure fun ride, JGL keeps stressing in interviews that you cant look at it from a good film perspective this film looks like it will be Michael Bay caliber amazingly fun to me...

  2. my main issue is you can barely tell what's going on, it just seems incomprehensible...i'm open to being wrong, i just don't see it

  4. I would love to try and stick up for this film, but these trailers make it really difficult. A big reason for that is they keep hiding Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I can somewhat understand them wanting to keep their best hand hidden, but some people out there don't even know he's in it because there's absolutely no hint in these trailers. I would like to say something nice, but the trailers aren't working with me.

  5. This is definitely a film for fun. That said, I still find Dennis Quaid's over-emphasised voice grating.

  6. I kinda agree with Josh. I really have no idea what they're going to do with JGL in this one. But he's not really the main reason why anyone should watch it, anyway.

I don't know. I would think there would be so many better movies out there to spend your time and money on, also in this genre, but it might be a fun ride.

  7. On a side note, i saw transformers 2 on thursday, if you liked the first one, you should enjoy this one too. The twins were very annoying, the effects excellent, the storyline....oh and the cameramen seemed to think Megan Fox should be filmed like she's in Baywatch.
