This is a great song. Very haunting and endearing. You know, when I look at the Original Song race this year, something seems a little odd. I'm not saying there's a conspiracy, but you have the one category where there was universal consensus that Slumdog should lose, and its biggest competitor isn't even nominated. Add to that there's only three songs and two come from Slumdog.
Again, it just looks fishy, like some people were really adamant that Slumdog should win almost everything.
He wasnt snubbed the song is ineligable because he put it on his record, its his own fault he aint getting the oscar. If he was smart he woulda waited till after the oscars to release his record then it wouldnt have mattered if he put the song on there. Its a Great song i love it but i dont fell sorry for him, shoulda been smart like i woulda been :)
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteAgain, it just looks fishy, like some people were really adamant that Slumdog should win almost everything.
sometimes when one film is really beloved by the Academy, for whatever reason, it ends up hogging slots for more deserving fare...like here
ReplyDeleteThe music video didn't impress me at all but I still love the song to death. There's honestly a better video to this song on youtube.

ReplyDeleteThe song is eligible, it was put on the record after the fact, that had nothing to do with it.
