-I think it's a pretty good list overall, though I'd definitely move the list around a lot (and will put my own ranking in the blog at some point in the next day or so, depending on if I can see the last Woody Allen movie or two I still need to see)...what would your top 10 Woody Allen movies be?

  1. I haven't seen all that many, but the ones I have seen I'll rank as follows:

    1. The Purple Rose of Cairo
    2. Annie Hall
    3. Crimes and Misdemeanors
    4. Hannah and Her Sisters
    5. Vicky Cristina Barcelona

That's it. I've seen most of "Take the Money and Run" as well (but not all of it), and would rank it ahead of "Barcelona", but not the others. I have to see "Broadway Danny Rose" and "Interiors" at some point as well.

I was very tempted to put Vicky Cristina Barcelona first, because everytime I see that movie I just get ths warm and fuzzy feeling inside. It's not a masterpiece of a movie, but it's exceptional at what it tries to do.

These are the six that I've seen, I've liked them all a good deal, but Crimes and Misdemeanors is my favorite by a fairly large margin (and I love Dostoevsky)

  7. Am I the only one that thinks that Anything Else is better than it gets credit for?
