  1. I noticed that Letters from Iwo Jima is placed in the adapted screenplay category, but at the Oscars it was nominated for Original. Maybe something to look at, or just leave it as is, but it was something I noticed.

  2. I felt it was an Adapted based on the book "Picture Letters from Commander in Chief" according to IMDB

I felt it to be more honest.

  3. Best year of the last decade for movies!

  4. I'm a little upset that Ben Foster for Alpha Dog was not listed for supporting actor category. In fact, Alpha Dog wasn't listed in any category. I thought it was one of the year's 15 best films.

  5. Anonymous about Alpha Dog,

Sorry about not listing but its nearly impossible to list every film because their are thousands of films that come out every year. If you feel Alpha Dog to be worthy, write a ballot for it in each category you see fit.

If you want to take it a step further, make an FYC ad on the Message Board to get people rallied up who also may have forgotten.

  6. Alpha Dog was very underrated in my book, so you have my support there...

  7. Thanks for the support Joey, I'm glad to hear there's another who liked Alpha Dog. And, to Clayton, I understand completely man. Don't worry about it. Cool idea about the FYC ad. I probably would have done one up for Superbad for Best Original screeplay for the 2007 awards if I had thought of it. I just realized that I used 'for' way too many times in that last sentence. My high school English teacher probably would have tore me a new one.

  8. I was just wondering, what happens if both of DiCaprio's performances are voted into the top five for Lead Actor? Will you only take the one with the highest votes, or will you include both performances?

  9. Fantastic question Robbie...I have no clue...Clay should have an answer, but either method would be cool in my book, but that's just me...

  10. I would rather have both performances included.
