Cameron Diaz will not sell your psychological thriller. Everyone's excited about Frank Langella after Frost/Nixon, and James Marsden's had more hits in the last 5 years than she has, put their names on there. Also, it's boring to look at.
Crappy poster, but I think this movie has real potential if they don't screw it up. It looks like they've already did two things to screw it up Cameron Diaz and the weak poster. I agree with Myles that we are all excited to see Langella!
This poster does nothing for me. I am not that fond of Diaz, and don't think she is a very talented actress, so would not go out of my way to see her in a drama, which this poster seems to be promoting.
i have nothing against Diaz, but if i didn't know anything about this movie, i wouldn't have any desire to see it...they don't even mention Richard Kelly, who would be at least a small sell
Though in fairness, using Kelly as a selling point didn't exactly do much for Southland Tales. Clearly his movies are preposterously unmarketable. To say nothing of their actual quality mind you.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeletetrue story...the very idea that this could make any amount of money should clue them in to leave his name off of it...didn't think of it like that
