While cast members Julianne Moore, Gael Garcia Bernal, Mark Ruffalo and Alice Braga have generally pleased critics, most reviewers feel acclaimed filmmaker Fernando Meirelles fais to capture the essence of, my fellow portuguese, Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago's Blindness.

It's like the bad reviews from Atonement last year in Venice everyone in italy almost hated the film because they're a bad adaptation to book and boring and pretenciuos, but in USA received fine reviews... Or La vie en rose, that include the case is more likely in USA that Berlin Film Festival last year. Both films opened their respective festivals and received more sucess after all.
ReplyDeleteBut even if Blindness received mixed reviews, Julianne Moore and the almost the rest of the cast are fine... I think Moore will have Lazharenko effect's last year. His film wasn't very well received and still he won for best actor, so I believe Julianne Moore has chances...
Explain me, what happen to the love for "In the Valley of Elah" in VEnice or "Irina PalM" in Berlin...
