Joey here...apparently Daniel Day-Lewis is in talks to replace Javier Bardem in the film adaptation of the show Nine (9). This could be very interesting. Rob Marshall of Chicago fame is directing and the cast already includes the likes of Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Nicole Kidman, and Judi Dench. Wow

ReplyDeleteMy answer to that is no. I think DDL can do anything. Although I've never heard him sing (I don't know that anyone has) he did work on the stage and had training for the stage. Training for even straight theater includes voice training because the actors have to project to the back of a large house and the diction has to be precise and easily understood.
That said, I'm surprised that he's considering doing another movie so soon. I figured he'd disappear again for awhile. I'll be glad when it's confirmed that this isn't so this time. :)
