I love Oliver Stone. The man has taken some unfortunate missteps in his career, namely U-Turn which is unforgivable and Alexander which I have yet to watch. However, let us never forget that the man made Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, JFK, Natural Born Killers and Nixon among other solid films.
I am clearly looking forward to this film and for Stone to be brought back to the level of acceptence that a filmmaker of his stature deserves
The second trailer makes it look much more interesting. I hope Brolin kills the role. He is a phenomenal actor, and got snubbed last year. The cast is great, so hopefully this movie will defy the odds, and actually be kind of good.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

Huge Oliver Stone fan here, too...Can't wait to see how he does with this material! God knows Bush has given him enough to work with:)

ReplyDeleteStone tends to do well with these types of flicks, and Brolin looks real good, as does Banks, so it might surprise, like I said
ReplyDeleteI'm really warming up to it too and I was less than excited about the whole concept I must confess... And Brolin looks great! Possible Best Actor nom?
