Why are the Spurs so good?

My hatred for the San Antonio Spurs grows after tonight.

I respect that they are a great team, but I really wanted to see Kobe and CP3 battle in the Western Conference Finals. Maybe next year. But, my dream for a "Boston-LA NBA Finals" still lives on! Right now, this is all I have.

    F the Spurs. I'd rather count the number of holes in the ceiling than watch their boring asses play. It's unfortunate but I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd love to see the Lakers in the finals against the Celtics. I'm a staunch Bulls fan from the Jordan era so my appreciation for Kobe is almost non-existent, but he's had a great year with a great team and to go up against a powerhouse like Boston would be worth it. CP3 next year though. He's the best player in the league, he'll get to the finals.

    I also hate the Spurs, I am a Pistons fan...so, we know where my loyalties are.

    I respect both the Pistons and the Spurs. As a fan of the game, they are both great teams. They execute well down the stretch, and are well balanced.

    But, I can't stomach another finals between the two. I am a sucker for exciting players and interesting story lines. So any combination of Kobe and the Celtics or Detroit will probably intrigue me.

    I am personally pulling for a Boston-LA series. I'm guessing most of the world is too. Hopefully Commish Stern can pull some strings. WE NEED Tim Donaghy!

    It's what they do best at the end of the day. That's what made them champions for four times over the last 10 years.

    No can argue on that. The team is attached together through good, bad or even worse. They play the game like it is. Many would have thought, they might crumble under pressure in NO (like the previous 3 games) but look how did they turned otherwise.

    I would also like to take my hats off to the Hornets. I do believe they're time is just around corner and they will be the next dynasty in the NBA.

    I would love to hear your thoughts about the game. Certainly any comments will be highly appreciated....
