30. The Hammer
-Yes, there are some surprising omissions, but it's more that I just liked these films more than the others than any hatred for the omitted ones....now, feel free to respond!

  1. I completely forgot about Cloverfield! nice pick

  2. thanks about Cloverfield and Gonzo...Doubt just left me wanting more, and the direction annoyed me, if that makes any sense

  3. Happy Go Lucky is better than your entire list

  4. are you nuts dude? that film was harder to sit through than the dentist...i would say any film on his list is better (except maybe Charlie Bartlett or Funny Games)

  5. great list!!!! though i might have added Last Chance Harvey or Hellboy 2

  6. decent list...some stuff i'd have added/dumped, but i like the mixed bag that it is...props

  7. and in terms of Happy-Go-Lucky, I felt that it was a very average movie with a rather great lead performance, but not something that would crack the list...but that's just me

  8. glad someone else saw The Hammer...i think there's 8 of us in total

  9. huge fan of Bill Maher and so glad to see his doc included here!

  10. I'm glad for the most part my list went over well
