  1. I hope the Reader is a masterpiece. The best movie of the last 20 years hopefully.

  2. I'm only ticked about no Springsteen! Or so it seems, oh well, we wanted at least a few surprises right? And boy did we get some...

  3. Many surprises. Snubbing Waltz with Bashir in favour of Bolt ? Man!

  4. Oh i'm a bit gutted for Sally Hawkins. Surely Kate HAS to win it this year, although it's a shame not to see a double nomination.

Shame about the Dark Knight too, I wasn't as bothered about it as most people but i certainly think it deserves more recognition that it got.

Also why are there only 3 Best Song nominees?

I'm rooting for Slumdog now all the way.

  5. Are that 13 nominations for "Benjamin Button"?! Wow.

  6. Agh, no TDK, Hawkins. No Springsteen? Christ. And The Reader was certainly not that good. Disappointed.

  7. why would they snub the dark knight for the reader, but then not nominate kate winslet for it?

Wallace and Gromit got snubbed for short animation.

Didnt see Wanted coming, the sound wasnt that special.

Overall the surprises for me were all pretty negative ones
