I know it's early to tell, but I have to say that no matter whether or not it's a contender, this looks like a fantastic film. It seems as if Clooney is on quite a roll...
I'm inclined to agree that Clooney has been hot lately, but that's mostly due to my adoration for Up in the Air.
Clooney looks quite good and it looks to be well shot. I can't say I like see anything contendery about it though.
Indeed, but you never know at this point in the game.
Oooohh I am lovin' the look of that (and remember I'm no big fan of George Clooney).
Not that into the story but I like Corbijn, Control was GREAT. Clooney is great too but I'd say very doubtful for Oscars.
Definitely looks good and lately it seems as though Clooney is always a contender; rightfully so for some recent, great work. I'm excited to see more of this, as I hope Clooney has some meatier scenes then we see in the trailer.
This to me, looks very similar to the role he played in "Michael Clayton" which he was nominated. I think that it really depends on the year. If there is anything better than this the Academy will not hesitate to keep him out since he has been nominated quite alot. But I wouldn't rule him out just yet.
I think it looks brilliant. Probably my most anticipated flick after Inception. It's appears to be beautifully shot and if the tone of the film is anything like the tone of the trailer, then this will surely be in the running for the major oscar categories. Especially with a year of ten, but of course, it all depends on how many 'Oscar' films bomb this winter. You never know, this one could bomb as well.-Robbie
Im a big fan of Control (put it in my top 10 of the decade) so naturally im excited to see this. Wether or not it will get in awards buzz is beyond me, maybe in cinematography, still a bit early to tell what's gonna happen.
New movie cliche that should be added to the books: "People giving some very dramatic line saying how God isn't on their side, or isn't of concern to them, or something like that."I've heard so many of these kind of lines.
Wild Things- We'll see
Gil- Personally, I'm not big on Michael Clayton, so I hope it's better, but that's just me.
Anything could happen Robbie.
David- Who knows at this point...
Ben- Haha, yes sir.
