A movie ticket in New York is now $20...

...and I'm about to cry (or at least my wallet is). The story from Collider is here, but feel free to rant on the cost in the comments.

    Damn I almost cry when I pay the $10 ($13 for 3D) they charge in St. Louis!

    In Denmark the standard price is around $15-16, with 3D movies costing $20. That's a lot of money when you go the see a movie weekly.

    This is not the average in NY, mind you. My local theater in Brooklyn is 12.50 for a standard show. This is Shrek in IMAX in Manhattan, but still...
