Just In Case We Haven't Talked About The Dark Knight Enough...

...we'll do it some more now! Joey here, and with a week (and counting) to go until it finally hits theaters (i'll be doing the 12:01 show...what about y'all?), all we can do is drowl. As of today, it has a 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This seems to be getting WALL-E type reviews, that good. Anyone out there somehow not planning to see it?

  1. I pretty much feel sorry for anyone going to see a film next weekend that ISNT The Dark Knight. Even more than I feel sorry for those viewers, I feel sorry for Universal sutiods for putting Mamma Mia out on the same day as TDK. In fact, the box office return on anything that isnt TDK that weekend is likley to be very very low. Sorry, but WB has you all beat. =)

  2. While I don't feel sorry for Mamma Mia, which I actually think is going to have a healthy gross at the box office by the end of its run (something in the general area of the 27 million opening weekend that Hairspray had, though proly about 20 million less than the 118 million Hairspray made by the time it left theaters....90 million due to good word of mouth for Mamma Mia is about right to me), I do agree that TDK is the big ticket item next week....

  3. Why go see the Dark Knight, when Meet Dave will be tearing the box office up for a second straight week? Everyone needs to reject this Dark Knight craze, and line up for Eddie's latest masterpiece. Eddie inside of Eddie? That's genius!
