  2. I can't wait. This is the summer movie I'm most looking forward to. Wolverine is obviously the best of the X-Men, and it doesn't hurt that I am a huge Huck Jackman fan. Can't wait for the Oscars, there better be some dance numbers.

  3. I can't lie, movie looks dope. I wish they got someone that looks slightly tougher to play Gambit. Other than that, it looks like a solid movie. Origin stories tend to be dope, so hopefully this one will fall in line. Let's hope.

  4. Josh Holloway turned it down out of fear of being type cast he would've been perfect...

  5. The trailer oddly reminded me of The Fountain, with Hugh Jackman appearing in different time periods. The music at the beginning sounded like the music from Sunshine, which was part of the reason that movie was so great.

By the way, was that Timothy Olyphant, aka worst actor ever, playing Gambit?

  6. I have to say it looked really good until the motorbike/helicopter/Mission Impossible bit. And I am such a sucker for Liev Schreiber! Danny Huston is always dependable.

  7. No, its not Timothy Olyphant, its a relative newcomer named Taylor Kitsch.

  8. The presence of the excellent Liev Schreiber and Danny Huston, not to mention the appearance of Gambit (my favorite X-Men character) have kept me interested. As a rule, origin stories tend to be less interesting, but here's hoping this one will work out.

The motorcyle helicopter thing was a little hard to swallow.

  9. I think the stunt may be hokey looking, but let's see how it woks in the end product. This look svery good simply because Hugh Jackman's performance as Wolverine has always been great, and the main reason I hated X-Men: The Last Stand was because they didn't focus on Wolverine like the first and second (the best one) films.

Hugh Jackman has made an otherwise somewhat 2 dimensional comic book character and made it an incredibly compelling.
