  1. those are some pretty ballsy choices, thats what I love about the NSFC awards.

I still can't believe that after all the critic awards for Hawkins she got no love from the SAG and Eddie Marsan may pull an upset nomination afterall

  2. I think this is more of a one time thing than a trend, but it could definitely happen

  3. Outside of Ledger and Hoffman, Supporting Actor is probably the category with greatest potential for an upset nominee this year, and Marsan's as good as any. Bill Irwin is also still possible I think. I have to think Hawkins is a shoo-in for nomination now, and deservedly so, but at whose expense? Jolie and Winslet? Or Melissa Leo?

  4. They like "Happy Go Lucky" much? Saw Robert Downey Jnr in Tropic Thunder Friday night and was very impressed - this guy is a legend! Personally, I still would not say Heath Ledger is a lock for Supporting Oscar. Downey Jnr might upset; probably not Hoffman as he already has one from not so long ago.

  5. I agree that Downey is a greater threat to upset the Oscar than people think. It would be wild if that happened.
