Trailer for 'A Serious Man'

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the Coen brothers, but I always keep an open mind, as they've never made a film I openly hated (though they've never made a film I openly loved either), so it's touch and go with them for me...their new film looks interesting though, I'll give it that. Here's the rather intriguing trailer:

  1. Ha ha ha ha. I love it!

PS. Haven't seen all their films, but Fargo remains a favourite of mine! Burn After Reading was good but not brilliant.

  2. The Coens are my favorite director(s) other than Tarantino and Scorsese. I've have loved all of their movies (except for The Ladykillers), so I think this looks amazing. I love how they didn't show hardly any of the plot, it's more like a teaser trailer. I also like that they only showed Richard Kind for a second, since he is suppose to be the best part of the film.

  4. I am a humongous fan of the Coens, and I really liked this trailer - very funny and it looks like a very different direction for them, which is always a good thing.

However, I'm not completely sold, mostly since I would have liked to have seen a little more plot development along with more of Richard Kind's performance.

No matter what, I need to see it.

  5. Looks...interesting, just like Joey I usually love their work but in this case I have a feeling this could end up in their bottom 5 for me(which isn't bad as each one of their films has redeeming qualities) but I will have to wait and see...

  6. I'm a huge fan o the Coens' work, with No Country For Old Men and Barton Fink being personal favorites, so I'll definitely try to watch this. Definitely more of a teaser, and I'd like to see some of Richard Kind. We'll see. I'm intrigued.
