Are you kidding me? My friends and I are planning on getting every single guy we know and seeing it together. If there is a single girl in the audience we will simply tell them "Hey -- you've already got "Twilight", so GET THE HELL OUT!".
To me it is a satisfying trailer that might lead to an entertaining movie, I was kinda thinking about Live Free or Die Hard which had the same track record.
I'll probably see it but the film seems like it has a 50/50 chance, could be awesome, could just plain suck.
I mean Stallone did write Rocky (one of the greatest sports films) along with Rambo I, II, and IV, and Cliffhanger, all good action flicks, he may hit another good one with this.
Joshua- My ex girlfriend is more interested in seeing it than I am, and you'd be surprised how many chicks have a thing for brainless 80's shoot-em-ups.
Ben- I don't think anyone is expecting high art, and it likely will suck, but in just the right, fun way to make it an enjoyable throwback experience...
I'll be at this one opening night. I grew up on the kind of Schwarzenegger/Stallone/Willis films this is clearly aping, and seeing all three together, however briefly, is too great to pass up. Rest of the movie looks pretty sweet too.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

The effort I put into this gag shows my overall disdain for the "holiday" haha.
ReplyDeleteBut as for this film...the testosterone level is near at a breaking point, but I know I'll be seeing it opening night...

ReplyDeleteHarsh...
ReplyDeleteNo, not at all. It's justified, lol.

ReplyDeleteIndeed. I was a bit older, but yes, the point remains the same.
ReplyDeleteI don't doubt that, Joey, but you know where I'm coming from...
ReplyDeleteOverall, it looks amazing, and I really can't wait for it.
Indeed. I fully expect a good time at the movies...
