    And Mathieu Amalric! Another overlooked performance this year. For those of you who haven't seen the movie, this man expressed more emotion with one eye and a voice over than you can imagine.

  3. I thought it was because it was her first time directing and writing. I'm glad that she got some acknowledgement, but it is kind of left-handed, isn't it.
