Don't expect to see Spielberg tackle that Lincoln movie anytime soon...

Those hoping for Steven Spielberg to get around to his Lincoln biopic or his sci-fi movie 'Interstellar' will have to wait quite a bit more, as Steve is going the remake route by turning the play and subsequent film adaptation of 'Harvey' into a movie. Read all of the details here, but I think this could be an interesting project for him.
-Thoughts?

  3. 2005 ACCA should be very soon, everything is ready to go, just waiting for Clayton to put it up...things have been busy as of late, we're working on some things, but no worries, it's coming

  4. I was getting a little anxious about the 2005 ACCA nods, but it's nice to know they're on their way. As for Spielberg, I guess he's got to be careful about future projects so we don't get another Indy IV, but a Lincoln biopic with Liam Neeson sounded really good. I hope he knows what he's doing.

  6. I'm not all that excited by Spielberg remaking a movie, especially since he has many other projects on his slate that all sound more interesting. Harvey is already a perfect movie, it doesn't need to be remade. But, since it looks as though Mr. Spielberg really wants to do this, I hope Tom Hanks plays the Jimmy Stewart part. These two together again could be brilliant, and this role screams Tom Hanks.
