In the news:

It appears that Terry Gilliam has found a buyer for his latest film, the last to feature Heath Ledger.

Those that are aching to see some Avatar footage can buy tickets for a 16 minute IMAX trailer to be shown August 21, the same day most movies will have the normal trailer attached to it as well.

Kam Basinger will be joining Zac Efron in the new drama from the director of Igby Goes Down (who also directed Efron in 17 Again).

Jon Heder will be in a movie that something to do with Budd Holly saving the world, sort of.

The writer of Walk The Line will next be tackling the story of a self destructive tennis player, the legend Bill Tilden.

The scribes of the most recent SAW films will next be working with a legend of horror, Clive Barker himself.

Finally, the production company for Adam Sandler has picked up a baseball themed project having to do with former player Rick Dempsey.
